Dan and Simona are the founders of HUB, two young people passionate about their work.

Their experience with the world of coffee began in 2008 through courses, study, competition and a lot of experience in the field both in Italy and abroad.

They love to travel and value human relationships.

Dan Bacaintan

Determination and humility led Dan to fill the role of lead barista at Kaffeine in London and to qualify sixth in the world in the Coffee in Good Spirits championship in Brazil in 2018.

Today he is the technical director of the Italian Barista School and his skills are the foundations on which HUB's educational is developed.

Simona Rey

Accuracy and obstinacy led her to work at the english roasting company Monmouth and to achieve her Q Grader qualification.

Sensory analysis and roasting are her passion and she is in charge of carefully selecting and roasting every single coffee proposed by HUB.
